Dearmore was the Founding Pastor of South Fort Worth Baptist Temple (now "Baptist Temple"), founder in 1939 of the Baptist paper "The Message" (nationally circulated for many years), founder and President of Worth Bible College, co-founder with Dr. L. E. Miller of Trinity Valley Baptist Seminary. He was widely respected as a Pastor, Editor, Educator and leader among Bible Believing non-affiliated independent Baptists, active proponent of the KJV, and of Direct Church Missions. All 3 of his sons became preachers, all three EARNED various graduate degrees, and two of them have spent over 50 years each (and continuing) as direct church sent independent Baptist Missionaries, with over 33 years EACH on foreign fields.
