THE HORSE

In creation God chose the Horse as an instrument in the hand of man. The Horse is mentioned all through the Bible. In Genesis 41:43 we have an account of Joseph riding in the second chariot (being honored by Pharaoh) when he was placed over the administrative affairs of Egypt. In the last book of the Bible, Revelation 19:11, John saw Christ sitting on a white Horse. The phrase "horse talk" perhaps originated in Numbers 22:28 where it is said: And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? In the full account of the story we learn that it was Balaam's ass that saved his life, not his own wisdom. Not only did the ass speak to Balaam, but God spoke to Balaam about the ass. In our present day, we have large, medium, and small Horses. One large breed is known as "Clydesdale." One of the smallest breeds is the "Falabella." The foal stands only three hands, (12 inches) having been recorded twice. Though the evolutionists have tried to place much mystery and doubt as to the origin of
the Horse, in the minds of people, the Horse remains the most popular animal in the world.
The Horse is also mentioned more times in the Bible than any other beast. |
