This Newsletter Updated August 6, 2010
Dearly Beloved Missionary Partners:
We are adding new materials to our popular Gospel Web Ministry (well over ONE MILLION AND SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND HITS YEARLY). Thousands of daily Devotions, Sermons, Bible Stories, Puritan items, Allegories, Youth and Seniors pages, Children's "Morality Stories" as well as Historic Speeches, Documents, and Court Decisions, for students.
WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT NOW MORE THAN WE EVER HAVE IN THE PAST. I thank God daily for each of you who pray and support our work. Our support is VERY low, and there is a need for more regular and special offerings. Just when God is greatly blessing our work, our support is becoming a real problem. We urgently need additional funds for operations, living expenses, and continued development. Every dime contributed will be carefully used to spread the gospel around the world through the Gospel Web Ministry. Your prayers and support are essential as we reach out farther with the gospel and moral truth, 24/7, 365. I have no intention of ever "quitting" or "retiring" –- Pray for my health and strength.
STATISTICS — stats show we have had "hits" from more than 170 countries, many from "US Military" networks, and many more of "unknown origin". We get over 136,000 "hits" or visits per month, and still growing. My son, James III ("Jimmy") has helped me redesign and enlarge our sites. He does this after a days work as a struggling General Contractor. His work on the web is a blessing to our outreach. Some of the popular pages are "printer friendly" and easier to print for use in your ministry. Of course, whether "printer friendly" or not, you can always print out any of our pages, it's just easier if we put in the special extra "print friendly" pages.
Our Web work gets world wide attention. We receive many invitations to speak overseas from various countries, on various continents. I regretfully do not accept foreign invitations now because of health, time, and money involved, and do not travel much in USA for the same reasons.
However, I DO STILL WORK 50 HOURS OR MORE MOST WEEKS ON OUR WEB SITES, upgrading and enlarging, adding new materials, etc. Most of this time is spent on our main site, http://www.gospelweb.net, with a few hours now and then on the www.gospelgate.org site. Please pray fervently and often for this worldwide outreach with truth!
A few hours also are spent, just occasionally, on a patriotic site privately sponsored by my son, Jimmy, and myself, (in order to separate the RBC from any responsibility for the site), http://www.biblicalpatriot.net, emphasizing the Christian foundations, and History of our nation and founding fathers. It is now running, and if you want to know what is really happening in secular and political news, TAKE A LOOK - 100's of Links from all over! Excellent research materials - good for Students and their school or College work!
By God's blessings, I am 81 year old, as of Sept. 12, 2010, and I still work over 50 hrs most weeks, and am grateful for the opportunity to continue to spread the gospel, conservative Christian values, and "real history," not fiction!(Most of my graduate study was in Bible and Theological subjects, but I also did some graduate study in History, in addition to a VERY heavy major in history in my undergraduate work).
We are praying that several of you folks who have not yet done so in the past will adopt us as one of your regularly supported missionaries. Our support level is FAR below what we need to support the work and live. Our regular support now is often only about $2200 per month. This is not enough to pay ministry expenses for the web servers (4 of them), equipment and software maintenance and updates, and operating expenses such as ISP fees, etc., and still live decently, paying our medical and modest living expenses.
WILL YOU ALL PRAY ABOUT THIS NEED? Or perhaps the Lord might lead some of you who already support the work to increase the amount per month, or send a special offering! I am sure you will do what God leads in this matter, and that will be good enough for all of us!
Any missions support sent to us is carefully used to spread the gospel worldwide by means of the www! God is blessing our web ministry in a great way. We normally now have about 136,000 visits to our web ministry each month, from over 170 country domains!
As I said above, our Web work attracts much attention from a world wide audience. We receive emails, letters, from many different countries, and as we said, our "count" to date now has passed beyond 8,881,675. We get e-mails often telling us what a blessing our "web" is, from all over the world. Our home church has new people come from time to time, and join, (some by baptism) thru web contact.
I work all of the time on maintaining, upgrading, and enlarging our Web.
I apologize to all of you for not sending out more "hard copy" reports. I will try to work harder at doing so more often, and will depend less on electronic notes and letters. As a result of the prayers and support of many of you with us in this missionary effort, there will be people on the Golden Street who will call you blessed because of your support for our ministry. May God encourage each of you as you serve Him!
Pray for us, as we continue to serve our glorious Lord as independent Baptist missionaries, remembering always that the "field" is the world. We look forward (if the Lord tarries) to many more years as your partners in spreading the glorious gospel of salvation by grace, through faith, in the finished work of Christ!

SOME EMAILS FROM PAST ABOUT OUR GOSPEL WEB
Dear Sir,
Searching with the keyword 'Kikongo' I found your page:
http://www.myhomepage.net/~jhdearmore/kikongo.htm. I was looking for a possibility to translate a small piece of text in Kikongo, for a dear friend of ours who can get a few hard days in the near future. We (my wife Deny and I) want to wish him all the best for those days. Can you help me to translate in Kikongo:
"We wish you all the best for the next days. We do not say 'good bye' but 'we'll see you!'. May your and our God be with you."
Thank you,
Deny and Jan, The Netherlands
ED. NOTE- I sent them their translation at once by email, of course.

Dear Mr. Dearmore:
I would like permission to print the information on your web page. I want to send it to my daughter and son-in-law. The Lord led me to buy an Afghan with some of notes to Amazing Grace on it. It was so appropriate because my son-in-law is Afro-American, and it was his grandmother's favorite song.
In Christian love,

From Janine in Cincinnati area of Ohio I enjoy looking at your web page frequently . . . . . . Also, I was wondering if you were still considering putting Chester Ratliff's story on your web site? He was once my pastor . . . . . . Thank You and God Bless You! Janine
ED NOTE: Yes, we have put up the testimony of Dr. Chester Ratliff, a long time dear and close friend of ours. If you're on the Web you should go to our page NOW and read this wonderfully thrilling testimony, and the tribute also to our own former Pastor Bro. Charles Thomas. Links for the Ratliff and Thomas tributes will be found at our homepage, which is:

From Unknown Christian Friend on the World Wide Web
Dear Jim and Georgia,
When I first found your page, I was looking under "plan of salvation" using the search engines. So when I clicked on it, it went straight to your Plan of Salvation page. I never even seen your other pages until now. They are oh so nice. I especially loved the music. You know, many churches are only singing and playing the new Christian music now, but I do and will always favor the good 'ole hymns of old. They are the best.
I played the organ from age 12 to 16 in church many years ago. And I still play those wonderful hymns on my keyboard. I haven't done that in awhile, but your beautiful music on your page has inspired me to hit those keys! *smile* My very favorite song is "Amazing Grace", and "There is Power in the Blood".

Dear Dr. Dearmore,
How are things going? How is your health and Sister Dearmore's health? We are all
fine at present. . . . . . . I have a request. If I remember correctly, you told me you
have the Textus Receptus Greek Text of the Trinitarian Bible Society in computer
file format. Could you possibly send it (them) to me via Eudora attachment? I am
using that text as the basis of my translation. It would be a tremendous help to have it
on my hard drive so I could search it with my computer.
So far I have completed the translation of . . . . . . .

CINCINNATI AREA
Dear Brother Dearmore:
You would not remember me, (Editor - But I do!) but I met you many years ago at a
meeting in the Cincinnati area. I was talking to Vivian Ratliff the other night and she
related that you had something about Bro. Chester on the net. I have not found
anything about him, but had viewed some of the other pages.
Today, Sunday 3:30 pm local time I tried to access your sites and got messages like
"FORBIDDEN - to access jhdearmore on this server." I cannot access Rodgers
Baptist or any of your sites that come up on the search on any of the search engines I
have used. I did get this e-mail site and thought I would let you know. Am I doing
something wrong in trying to address these sites? Ken Ogle
Pastor of Faith Baptist Church - Williamsburg, Ohio
ED. NOTE- This happened when our server was down one time for about 18 hours,
but he got through later.

FROM PAMMI, AN UNKNOWN FRIEND ON THE WEB
Hello Mr. Webmaster :o)
I am looking for simple pages, like you have made, on the "Plan of Salvation", to add
to my webpage as a link. I have a 60's music page and . . . . . get thousands of
visitors. I have waited too long to put on it what has been tugging at my heart for a
long time.
Many can read the simple plan of salvation from my pages, along with wonderful
links, such as yours! I hope you will not mind. (We didn't mind, of course!) . . .
.Thank you for such a wonderful site. . . Pammi

From A Dear Friend In Australia
Dear Bro. James,
Greetings in the blessed name of our Lord Christ Jesus. I have received mail from
you once before. I have had Computer problems since we installed a CD-Rom.
Thank you so much for your recent note that had perfect timing. I needed a word of
encouragement that day, and there it was on the Computer. You know how
missionaries get discouraged every now and then.
I took the time and visited your web page. I love it!! I asked a person to download
everything for me due to his unlimited E-mail access. Here in Australia, nothing is for
free. I only get two hours a month free, which I use for E-mail only. Any additional
hours would cost $10/hr.
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Give my love to Mrs. Dearmore.

XxxxxxX Baptist Church in Poznan, Poland
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
My name is (name was here), and I am the pastor of the xxxxxx Baptist Church. I am
31, and I have been working in the church since 1988, when I finished Bible
Seminary. We are a Baptist Church, which started one and a half years ago, as a
result of a growing vision in the Xxxxx Baptist Church. Many people who are in our
new church were working in the Xxxx Baptist Church, where I was working with
youth, and with young couples for over 7 years. After prayer and fasting for 3 weeks,
with the pastor of the Xxxx congregation, we all saw that the best way for developing
Gods Kingdom in our city would be to start a new church. . . . So 22 people decided
to leave together to start this new church. We had nothing, just warm hearts! Since
we started this new work, we have seen how wonderful our God is, leading us step
by step. Presently, we rent a room in a culture house, . . . .
From Poznan - ED. Pray for these people! I have additional news and they now
have the building they were trying to buy, after passing up several "final deadlines" to
close the deal, they NOW have it!

except for a cursory scan to see if it was the full text. Keep up the good work. Simply

Just one of many supportive verbal and written encouragements from our own beloved Pastor and Sister Brenda.
See his sermon "The Importance of Children,"which has attracted a great deal of attention on our web site. It is posted under his name, and again under the ProLife topical listing, and is linked to the ProLife Web Ring to a wide audience, where it has also attracted favorable comment. Many other sermons of his are also posted on Gospel Web.

I checked out the page you submitted to the queue and it is excellent!! This is the
type of information that is not widely publicized, and people need to be aware of it! .
. . . .
I also looked at your pastor's sermon, (The Importance of Children) and it's
beautifully written. . . .
If you want more than one page on the ring, you can do that also. (for instance, if
you wanted to have your pastor's sermon, as well as the Doe information on the ring)
You would have to submit each site separately (that's just how the ring works) This
is up to you :-) Both pages, however, would be a great addition to the ring. .......
Thank you! And God bless you for all the work you are doing for those who can't
speak for themselves.
PS - I noticed the "stone tablet" on your page! I have that on one of my other web
pages also :-)

our pages.
