God the Refuge of the Believer

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Psa. 46:1,2

God is our refuge in distress,
A present help when dangers press;
In him undaunted I'll confide,
Though earth were from her centre toss'd,
And mountains in the ocean lost,
Torn piece-meal by the roaring tide.
