There are times when our hearts our heavy and our loved ones and friends attempts to comfort us doesn’t help. It is then that we need to go to Jesus and allow Him to comfort us with His comfort. He is the only one who can see into our hearts and see the tears that we keep hidden from everyone. He will kiss away the hurt and sorrow in our hearts.
Jesus is a friend beyond compare! He Loves us with a Love that will never end no matter what we do. All of us fail Jesus every day by our words or actions, but He is faithful to forgive us if we will only ask Him to help us not to say things or do things to hurt our loved ones and friends.
The arms of Jesus are wide enough for all of us. He can hold all of us on His lap of Love at the same time. He gives us all equal attention. He doesn’t play favorites. He treats us all with the same Love and compassion. I can see Him leaning over and kissing us one by one. When He gets through kissing all of us, He starts over again because He knows that we are vulnerable and get hurt easily.
If you are hurting today and the tears are flowing in your heart, allow Jesus to kiss away your tears. Tell Him how you are feeling, He already knows but He wants you to come to Him like a little child. He Loves you so much that He died for you and He has promised that He will never leave or forsake you.
