My parakeet has a bad habit of pulling on my hair. I think she wants to build a nest. I have been telling her, "NO" for months and she still does it. I got exasperated a little while ago and said to her, "How many times do I have to tell you NO"? If you are a parent, you can understand how I feel.
How many times does Jesus have to tell us to trust Him? He proves over and over again that He is Faithful to help us and yet we still don’t trust Him like we should. I’m sure that it hurts Him when we don’t trust Him.
Sometimes we pray and ask Him to take care of a situation and as soon as we get finished praying, we immediately try to solve it ourselves. How can He answer our prayers if we don’t get out of the way and allow Him to work on our behalf?
We need to stop relying on others, and ourselves and fully lean on Jesus. He is the only One who will never fail us. If we will surrender all to Jesus, He will lead us in the way that He wants us to go.
Are you depending on yourself and others? If so, put your trust in Jesus alone and you will never be disappointed. He will never leave you, or hurt you.
