God Loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for us. What Love the Father has for us! He even Loves us after the way we tortured His Son. If God can forgive us and Love us, then we need to forgive and love each other. Many times we tell our family, loved ones and friends that we love them but it is not from our hearts.
If we really loved the way that Jesus wants us to love one another, we wouldn’t hold grudges, we wouldn’t say critical and harsh words to each other, and we would forgive when someone hurts us. We have His Love in our hearts if we have made a heart commitment to Jesus, but we fall short of loving the way He has commanded us to love each other.
If we are to lead others to Jesus, they must see in our actions the Love of Jesus and hear His Love in our words. So many people are hurting and need to know that someone really cares about them. We must die to ourselves and allow His Love to flow out of us to others. We need to love them to Jesus.
Do you love others from your heart? Do you love Jesus with all your heart? Is everything you do and say done to make Him happy? Is the Love of Jesus dwelling in your heart? Have you invited the Christ of Calvary into your heart? Have you asked Him to forgive you and come into your heart and save you? If not, please don’t wait. You may not have another day, or even another hour to live.
