"Today is a gift from God. What I do with today is my gift back to God. Because of His investment in me, the Kingdom will be richer, and fuller, and deeper today because I am alive." Dear Sisters and Brothers, Read this to the end..... Would you consider abortion in the following 4 situations? 1. There's a preacher and wife who are very, very poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she's pregnant with the 15th. They're living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty, and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending she get an abortion? 2. The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have 4 children. The 1st is blind, 2nd is dead, 3rd is deaf, 4th has TB. She finds she's pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion? 3. A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion? 4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She's not married. Her fiance is not the father of the
baby, and he's very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion? Read this ... it really makes a good point ... pass it around to all your Christian
and non-Christian friends.. In the first case, you have just killed John Wesley. One of the greatest evangelists in the 19th century. In the second case, you have killed Beethoven. In the third case, you have killed Ethel Waters, the great black gospel singer. If you said yes to the fourth case, you have just endorsed the murder of Jesus Christ !! Many children are innocently slaughtered everyday because their parents are too
afraid of their consequences. If you make a mistake, you must take the responsibility.
Everyone grows up to be something, especially in God's eyes. "You shouldn't have killed my baby brother, he could've growed up and had fun sometimes." - - - - - - - taken from the movie "Slingblade" "The voice said, "Cry." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding." --Isaiah 40:6a, 28 |
